Watford Gap The Musical

Very strange to hear news (and music) from the new Watford Gap musical on the radio this morning. I half expected Roy's song to kick in part way through, but then again, no...

Maybe it's time (and timely) for Roy to release the song as a single!

One More Cup of Coffee ( Valley Below ) Bob Dylan cover by Andy Roberts on Youtube

I've always liked Bob Dylan's Desire album And once knew all the words to Hurricane...Isis too, but that was a long time ago.

Then I learned a way of playing Mozambique on the guitar and passed it on.

To be honest, when I first saw the line-up for this years festival; I wasn't too impressed ... but how wrong I was !! It's amazing how they can get acts on that are so good, but very few people had actually heard of them before.

Beer update

pd's picture

I've been a little remiss on updating everyone on the beer making. I suspect I've been a little too busy making it, and drinking it, to write about it. The Landlord that I made (see last blog entry) turned out to be a little bit of a failure. I added too much water so it was a bit weak but more importantly my thermometer had been reading too high so I ended up mashing at too low a temperature. This meant that I got less fermentable sugars. So in the end the brew was a hoppy and tasty "session beer".
